The Alouette & Select record labels
The Alouette & Select record labels launch, headed by Rosaire and Edmond Archambault. The labels begin to license music by both Quebec and Foreign artists. Quebecor buys the labels in 1996.
Creation of the Trans Canada & Saisons record labels
1960 sees the creation of the Trans Canada & Saisons record labels, headed by Jean-Paul Richner. Quebecor takes over ownership in 1972
The Kebec Disc
The Kebec Disc record label was founded in 1974. Following the death of President Gilles Talbot, his estate sells his interests to the company that later became Quebecor.
